Elisha said, "Hear the word of the LORD. This is what the LORD says: About this time tomorrow, a seah of flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria."

The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God, "Look, even if the LORD should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?" "You will see it with your own eyes," answered Elisha, "but you will not eat any of it!"

Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, "Why stay here until we die?

If we say, 'We'll go into the city'--the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let's go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die."

At dusk they got up and went to the camp of the Arameans. When they reached the edge of the camp, not a man was there,

for the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, "Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!"

So they got up and fled in the dusk and abandoned their tents and their horses and donkeys. They left the camp as it was and ran for their lives.

The men who had leprosy reached the edge of the camp and entered one of the tents. They ate and drank, and carried away silver, gold and clothes, and went off and hid them. They returned and entered another tent and took some things from it and hid them also.

Then they said to each other, "We're not doing right. This is a day of good news and we are keeping it to ourselves. If we wait until daylight, punishment will overtake us. Let's go at once and report this to the royal palace."

So they went and called out to the city gatekeepers and told them, "We went into the Aramean camp and not a man was there--not a sound of anyone--only tethered horses and donkeys, and the tents left just as they were."

The gatekeepers shouted the news, and it was reported within the palace.

The king got up in the night and said to his officers, "I will tell you what the Arameans have done to us. They know we are starving; so they have left the camp to hide in the countryside, thinking, 'They will surely come out, and then we will take them alive and get into the city.'"

One of his officers answered, "Have some men take five of the horses that are left in the city. Their plight will be like that of all the Israelites left here--yes, they will only be like all these Israelites who are doomed. So let us send them to find out what happened."

So they selected two chariots with their horses, and the king sent them after the Aramean army. He commanded the drivers, "Go and find out what has happened."

They followed them as far as the Jordan, and they found the whole road strewn with the clothing and equipment the Arameans had thrown away in their headlong flight. So the messengers returned and reported to the king.

Then the people went out and plundered the camp of the Arameans. So a seah of flour sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley sold for a shekel, as the LORD had said.

Now the king had put the officer on whose arm he leaned in charge of the gate, and the people trampled him in the gateway, and he died, just as the man of God had foretold when the king came down to his house.

It happened as the man of God had said to the king: "About this time tomorrow, a seah of flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria."

The officer had said to the man of God, "Look, even if the LORD should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?" The man of God had replied, "You will see it with your own eyes, but you will not eat any of it!"

And that is exactly what happened to him, for the people trampled him in the gateway, and he died.

　　王下 7:1-2> 神能成就万事，可是我有时小信，军长的教训告诫我……　

　　7:1-2　以利沙预言神要拯救，王的一个军长说绝不可能。他失去信心与盼望，但神的话语仍然实现了（ 7:14-16 ）。在我们应当寻找机会的时候，满心总是想着种种难处。不要只消极地想到失败，要心存盼望积极争取。你说神不能拯救某人或改变某种情势，就表示你的信心不足。　

　　王下 7:3> 长大麻疯的人不是要留在城外吗？为何他们……　

　　7:3　以色列的律法规定，患大麻疯之人不可居住在城里，必须住在城外，靠别人施舍赒济为生（参利 13:45-46 ；民 5:1-4 ）。因为城内有饥荒，又有亚兰大军压境，所以情势十分危急。　

　　王下 7:3-10> 分享传扬好消息要及时，那些长大麻疯的人给了我们一个好榜样！我做得怎样？　

　　7:3-10　几个长大麻疯的人看到亚兰人所撇下的营寨，知道自己平安无事了。他们最初把好消息留住，没有去告诉城里饥饿的同胞。与此相仿，我们也必须传扬耶稣基督的好消息，因为这是最重要的消息。不可忘记未听到福音、生命垂危之人，不可陶醉于自己的信仰，而不向周围的人传扬。我们的好消息和长大麻疯之人的一样，不可“等到天亮”，要快快传出去。　

　　王下 7:19-20> 耶和华以勒──神永远必有预备，想想，神在你身上的供应……　

　　7:19-20　供给我们日用饮食的，是神而并不是无用的偶像，即使我们的信心软弱又微小，也不可怀疑神的供应。在我们缺乏供应、疑虑如云的时候，要记住神能敞开天上的窗户来供应我们。──《灵修版圣经注释》　

列王纪下注释　　七1～2 以利沙向王作了一个非凡的预告，他保证第二天在撒马利亚城门，细面和大麦必以很便宜的价钱出售。当王权下那怀疑不信的军长质疑会否有那么大量的食物出现，以利沙说他必亲眼看见，却不得吃。慕迪说：“假如你要相信神，你必须将‘怎样能’这问题钉在十字架上。”（比较马可福音八章4节耶稣喂饱四千人时门徒的反应。）

　　七3～7 那天黄昏，四个坐在撒玛利亚城门口、长大麻风的人，在绝望中决定到亚兰人的营中投降，期望得到食物。他们到了营中不见一人，只有那些留下来没带走的各种器物。因为主使亚兰军听见大军的声音，以为是以色列王所贿买赫人和埃及人的兵，于是慌忙地逃走。马大亨利这样评论：“围困多坍的亚兰人眼目被主扰乱了（六18）；而这时他们的听觉被扰乱了……他们听到的声音无论是由天使在天上发出，还是只是听到一些声音，都无法确定；无论谁在说话，都是出于神。”

　　七8～16 长大麻风的人最初随意吃喝，又拿取金银和衣服。但后来他们想到以色列人很快便知道亚兰人已经走了，因而惩罚他们知情不报的罪，于是他们决定通知王。以色列王怀疑亚兰人埋下伏兵引他们出去，但他一个巨仆建议派几个人去窥探，因为就算他们不被亚兰军杀死，也会象其余的以色列人一样饿死。探子发现亚兰人真的走了，留下掠物，于是以色列众人就去掳掠亚兰人的营磐，解决了饥荒之灾。在我们缺乏供应、疑虑如云的时候，要记住神能敞开天上的窗户来供应我们。

　　七17～20 正如以利沙所预言的，那天细面和大麦以很便宜的卖价出售。那怀疑不信的军长亲眼看见，却不得吃，因为城门口欢喜若狂的群众将他践踏死了。第18至20节再次强调，这个人因为不信，因此正如主所预言的死了。不信使人失去祝福，惹来死亡。

　　长大麻风的人有一句值得我们常常谨记的话：“我们所作的不好！今日是有好信息的日子，我们竟不作声！”我们相信神救赎恩典福音的人，应该常常以此为尴尬。

列王纪下第七章　　(2) 解围（七 1 ～ 20 ）　

　　1. 　以利沙在此处的预言在解围时完全应验（ 1 节；参 18 ～ 20 节），届时生活必需品之价格会跌至一般价格以下。这种预言十分有效，因为没有时间使谷物生长以补充供应。城门口是市集及地方法院审判之所在。　

　　2. 　军长（参： AV 之“主”； MT s%a{li^s% ）乃指战车小组中的第三手，是拿兵器的侍从武官（ NEB 作“副官”），为王的助手（参：王下九 25 ，五 18 ） 316 。天上的窗户（ NIV 作“水闸”）乃象征语（创七 11 ；玛三 10 ）。　

　　6. 　引起恐慌或谣言的声音乃是神的作为。神往往使用许多不同的方法来成就祂的旨意。当时新赫人在叙利亚北部（ Hitti-land “赫之人地”）坐大 317 。埃及人（ MT 为　mis]rayim ）可能应读作　Mus]ri　人（ mus]ri^m ）是赫人及亚兰人之同盟（如王上十 28 ）。亚兰人仓皇逃命，连未上马具的战车马都弃置不顾。　

　　9. 　此处他们对被刑罚（ MT `awo^n ）的恐惧可能超过道德上的考虑。此字包括行为及其后果。为了避免触犯社会常规往往是令人行为改变的有效原因。　

　　10 ～ 15. 　王怀疑这是一个阴谋，一如他的祖先在艾城时所行的一样（书八 3 ～ 28 ）。然而，他决定采用危险性最低的行动，差派剩下之马中的五匹马（而非 NEB 的“一些”），但显然只有两个人骑在马上（ 14 节， NEB 、 MT rekeb[ su^si^m ）；而非如 AV 所说的差派“战车马”或 NIV 所说的“战车及马”去。　

　　17 ～ 20. 　真预言的试金石是看其是否应验（申十八 21 ～ 22 ）。这一段经文并非只是重复或误写，而是一个总结，强调作者对此事件的道德评价。信靠神的人绝对不会有缺乏，在此一餐所需的贵重细面（ 7.3 公升）价钱相等于普通大麦的双倍，由此可见其货源丰富。 ──《丁道尔圣经注释》
